  277. The installation procedure for NuTest is quite simple.  The
  278. package includes a program, "INSTALL.EXE", which automates the
  279. entire process.  You will need about 2Mbytes of available disk space
  280. on the hard drive on which you plan to install NuTest.
  281.  
  282. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received
  283. NuTest.
  284.  
  285. IMPORTANT NOTE
  286.  
  287. You must use INSTALL to transfer the files from the installation disk,
  288. do NOT use COPY. This is because the files have been compressed to fit
  289. them on the  distribution disk and will not be useable in compressed
  290. form. INSTALL automatically  expands them as it copies them to your
  291. working directory.
  292.  
  293. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  294.  
  295. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  296.  
  297.    o  Place the NuTest distribution diskette in the
  298.       appropriate diskette drive.
  299.  
  300.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program on the distribution diskette
  301.       using File Manager or Program manager in the usual way.
  302.  
  303.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  304.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  305.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
  306.       program will ask you for a destination directory and will copy
  307.       the NuTest files to that directory. If you so direct it, the
  308.       installation program will install executable programs and
  309.       documentation in other directories of your choice. It will NOT
  310.       modify your autoexec.bat or config.sys files.

  313. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  314.  
  315. If you downloaded NuTest from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  316. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  317. following steps.
  318.  
  319.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file in a temporary
  320.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  321.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  322.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  323.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  324.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  325.       directions for this from the same source from which you
  326.       received the package.

  328.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program in the temporary directory
  329.       using File Manager or Program manager in the usual way.
  330.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any

  347. group in Program Manager or a new item in the Start button list

  353. be obscured by the Windows95 Task Bar when using certain screen
  354. resolutions. You can avoid this problem by setting the Windows95 Task
